Bi-Lingual Spanish - Family Advocate
Early Head Start - Taylorsville


There is a full-time opening for a Family Advocate who is bi-lingual in Spanish in our Early Head Start program in Taylorsville. The Family Advocate provides services for pregnant women, and for children and their families in the areas of early childhood development, disabilities, child health and safety, nutrition, prenatal education, and family partnerships. In this position you will conduct weekly home visits to provide education, referral, and other advisory services to program participants; assist parents and pregnant women in ensuring that their health and mental health needs are met; and provide emotional support for families and assist them in their role as an advocate for their child. A high school diploma or GED is required. We prefer a BS degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field and we require a minimum of one year of related experience in early childhood education, family services, or other related fields. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. This position comes with excellent benefits including medical and dental insurance, vacation and sick days, 18 paid holidays, 401(k) options, retirement through the Utah Retirement Systems, and mileage reimbursement at 50 cents a mile. Background screen and motor vehicle report will be done on all new hires.

 

Family Advocate, Bi-lingual - Part-time

There is a part-time (19 hr/wk) opening for a Family Advocate in our Early Head Start program in Taylorsville. ERSEA Specialist - 19 hours
Early Head Start - Tooele


The Early Head Start Program in Tooele provides services to low-income families with children in the birth to three age range and/or pregnant women. We are currently looking for a part-time ERSEA Specialist to support the eligibility, recruitment, enrollment, selection and attendance area of the EHS Program. In this position you will participate in enrollment and recruitment activities including implementing recruitment plans in the community to identify and target low income families. You will also conduct application appointments with interested families, assist with prioritization and selection into the program, and track and input enrollment data in the electronic information system. This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six months in social or family services and experience working with children and families. This position comes vacation and sick leave, and 410(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule. Driving is required therefore, you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report will be done on all new hires.

 

Spanish Interpreter/Translator - 19 hours
Early Head Start


The Early Head Start 4500 South location is currently seeking a Spanish speaking Interpreter/Translator to provide interpretation services during specific Early Head Start activities for staff and the children and families we serve as well as provide written translation of various documents and forms. This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating another language, and training or experience in teaching adults. This position comes with vacation and sick leave, 401(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and some flexibility with the schedule.

 

Registered Nurse
Early Intervention - East Site


Are you looking for a rewarding career making a difference in the life of a child? Our Early Intervention program serves special needs children from birth to 3 years old. We are currently looking to hire a full-time (32 hr/wk) Registered Nurse to work at our East site in Salt Lake City. In this position you will be part of an evaluation team doing medical assessments on infants and toddlers in their homes to determine eligibility for our program. You must have a Utah RN license and we prefer some pediatric experience, however, we will train the right candidate in early intervention. Driving will be required for this position, therefore you must be at least 21, have a good driving record, a current license and car insurance, and reliable transportation. Somali Interpreter
Early Intervention


DDI VANTAGE Early Intervention program in Salt Lake City provides home-based services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for an on-call Somali Interpreter to accompany therapists to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Somali. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report will be run on all new hires. This position comes with some benefits including a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

 

Burmese Interpreter
Early Intervention


DDI VANTAGE provides home-based early intervention services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for a part-time Burmese Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Burmese. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. We offer vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and mileage reimbursement.

 

Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech & Language Pathologist
Part-time Duchesne County


Would you like a rewarding job working with infants and toddlers? Our Early Intervention Program in Roosevelt is currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Pathologist to work with children from birth to three in Duchesne County. In this position you will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations and provide home-based individual services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. You will also conduct developmental evaluations using appropriate assessment tools to assist in determining program eligibility. We will provide training in early intervention to the right candidate. Because driving is required you must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, current car insurance and a good driving record. This position comes with some benefits including vacation and sick leave, 401(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule. We require a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology and a current Utah license.
