Bi-Lingual Spanish - Family Specialist
Early Head Start - Taylorsville
There is a full-time opening for a Family Specialist who is bi-lingual in
Spanish in our Early Head Start program in Taylorsville. The Family
Specialist provides services for pregnant women, and for children and their
families in the areas of early childhood development, disabilities, child
health and safety, nutrition, prenatal education, and family partnerships.
In this position you will conduct weekly home visits to provide education,
referral, and other advisory services to program participants; assist
parents and pregnant women in ensuring that their health and mental health
needs are met; and provide emotional support for families and assist them in
their role as an advocate for their child. A high school diploma or GED is
required. We prefer a BS degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child
Development or a related field and we require a minimum of one year of
related experience in early childhood education, family services, or other
related fields. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. This position

Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech & Language Pathologist
Part-time Duchesne County
Would you like a rewarding job working with infants and toddlers? Our Early
Intervention Program in Roosevelt is currently seeking a part-time Physical
Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Pathologist to work
with children from birth to three in Duchesne County. In this position you
will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations
and provide home-based individual services to infants and toddlers with
special needs and their families. You will also conduct developmental
evaluations using appropriate assessment tools to assist in determining
program eligibility. We will provide training in early intervention to the
right candidate. Because driving is required you must have reliable
transportation, a valid driver license, current car insurance and a good
driving record. This position comes with some benefits including vacation

schedule. We require a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or
Speech/Language Pathology and a current Utah license.
Specialist - 15-19 hours
Adult & Youth Services
The Adult and Youth Services program is looking
for a part-time Support Specialist to provide supported employment and
supported living services to individuals with disabilities in the community.
In this position you will assist clients in the work place or assist them in
finding employment. You will also provide in-home support to clients in the
areas of budgeting, medical needs, personal hygiene, transportation, social
activities, and other life skills. We require a high school diploma or
equivalent and a minimum of six months related experience. We provide sick
leave, vacation, mileage reimbursement and a flexible schedule. This
position requires driving therefore you must have a current driver license
and car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. A
background screen and motor vehicle report are run on all new employees.
