Human Resources Assistant

Human Resources is seeking a part-time (25 hr/wk) Human Resources Assistant to provide support to the HR department and the organization. This position will manage employee databases, create and maintain employee files, complete reference checks on new hires, provide clerical support, and serve as a back-up for the Admin front desk. We require strong overall computer and technical skills with a variety of applications, accurate data entry skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, good judgment skills, and a great attention to detail. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in benefits, worker’s compensation and recruiting. Must be comfortable in working with staff at all levels as well as the public. This position comes with benefits including 18 paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, retirement though the Utah Retirement Systems, 401(k) options and a flexible schedule. Driving is required therefore you must be at least 21and have a current driver license, car insurance, and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report are run on all new hires.


Family Specialist
Early Head Start - Taylorsville

There is a full-time opening for a Family Specialist in our Early Head Start program in Taylorsville. The Family Specialist provides services for pregnant women, and for children and their families in the areas of early childhood development, disabilities, child health and safety, nutrition, prenatal education, and family partnerships. In this position you will conduct weekly home visits to provide education, referral, and other advisory services to program participants; assist parents and pregnant women in ensuring that their health and mental health needs are met; and provide emotional support for families and assist them in their role as an advocate for their child. A high school diploma or GED is required. We prefer a BS degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field and we require a minimum of one year of related experience in early childhood education, family services, or other related fields. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. Driving is required, therefore you must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, current car insurance, and a good driving record. Health Services Specialist - 19 hours
Early Head Start

The Health Services Specialist assures the activities in the health, nutrition and safe environments areas of the Early Head Start program are carried out effectively. In this position you will ensure compliance with program goals related to the health and development of children and pregnant women in the program. This job requires a high school diploma and experience in public health, health education, maternal and child health, or related field; and a minimum of one year of related experience. Knowledge of child development, family dynamics and knowledge of community resources is a plus.


Support Specialist - 10-15 hours
Adult and Youth Services

The Adult and Youth Services program is looking for a part-time Support Specialist to provide supported employment and supported living services to individuals with disabilities in the community. In this position you will provide support to clients in their workplace and/or in the home in the areas of medical needs, personal hygiene, transportation, social activities, and other life skills. We require a high school diploma or equivalent and we prefer a minimum of six months related experience. We provide sick leave, vacation, mileage reimbursement and a flexible schedule. This position requires driving therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license and car insurance, reliable transportation, and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report are run on all new employees.


Burmese Interpreter
Early Intervention

DDI VANTAGE provides home-based early intervention services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for a part-time Burmese Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Burmese. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. We offer vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and mileage reimbursement.


Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech & Language Pathologist
Part-time Duchesne County

Would you like a rewarding job working with infants and toddlers? Our Early Intervention Program in Roosevelt is currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Pathologist to work with children from birth to three in Duchesne County. In this position you will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations and provide home-based individual services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. You will also conduct developmental evaluations using appropriate assessment tools to assist in determining program eligibility. We will provide training in early intervention to the right candidate. Because driving is required you must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, current car insurance and a good driving record. This position comes with some benefits including vacation and sick leave, 401(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule. We require a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology and a current Utah license.
