Human Resources Specialist

Human Resources is seeking a full-time Human Resources Specialist to provide support to the HR department and the organization. A strong background in recruiting with a minimum of two years related human resources experience is required. You will also perform human resources generalist duties. Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills, good judgment skills, and a great attention to detail. We require a high school diploma or GED. This position comes with excellent benefits including 18 paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, retirement though the Utah Retirement Systems, 401(k) options and a flexible schedule. Driving is required, therefore, you must be at least 21 and have a current driver license, car insurance, and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report are run on all new hires.

 

Child Care Adviser
Early Head Start


A part-time (19 hr/wk) position has become available in the Early Head Start program for a Child Care Adviser to provide services for children and families in center-based partnerships to address the early childhood development and disabilities components of the Head Start Program Performance Standards. In this position you will observe classrooms, plan relevant trainings for childcare teachers, and ensure classroom lesson plans align with child development goals. Experience working with children and families is a center setting is preferred. We require a degree in education, family development, human development, social services or related area. Since driving is required you must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, a current driver license, car insurance and a good driving record. This position comes with some benefits including sick leave and vacation, mileage reimbursement, a flexible schedule, and 401(k) options.

 

ERSEA Specialist
Early Head Start

The Early Head Start Program provides services to low-income families with children in the birth to three age range and/or pregnant women. We are currently looking for a part-time (19 hr/wk) ERSEA Specialist to support the eligibility, recruitment, enrollment, selection and attendance area of the EHS Program. In this position you will participate in enrollment and recruitment activities including implementing recruitment plans in the community to identify and target low income families. You will also conduct application appointments with interested families, assist with prioritization and selection into the program, and track and input enrollment data in the electronic information system. This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six months in social or family services and experience working with children and families. This position comes with vacation and sick leave, 410(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule. Driving is required therefore, you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, and a good driving record. Family Advocate Center-Based
Early Head Start


We currently have a part-time opening (19 hr/wk) in the Early Head Start program for a Center-based Family Advocate. This position will provide case management services in the center-based partnership for children and their families in the areas of early childhood development, disabilities, child health and safety, nutrition, and family partnerships. In this position you will partner with family and childcare teachers to monitor and update outcomes, as well as provide education and information to parents and childcare teachers for the successful implementation of goals. You will assure that families receive the appropriate services and referrals and will assist families in ensuring that their children’s needs are met. A high school diploma or GED is required. We prefer a BS degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field and we require a minimum of one year of related experience in early childhood education, family services, or other related fields. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. This position comes with benefits including vacation days; sick days; 401(k) options; and mileage reimbursement at 50 cents a mile. Family Advocate - Bi-lingual Spanish
Early Head Start


There is a part-time (19 hr/wk) opening for a Spanish speaking Family Advocate in our Early Head Start program in Taylorsville. The Family Advocate provides services for pregnant women, and for children and their families in the areas of early childhood development, disabilities, child health and safety, nutrition, prenatal education, and family partnerships. In this position you will conduct weekly home visits to provide education, referral, and other advisory services to program participants; assist parents and pregnant women in ensuring that their health and mental health needs are met; and provide emotional support for families and assist them in their role as an advocate for their child. A high school diploma or GED is required. We prefer a BS degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field and we require a minimum of one year of related experience in early childhood education, family services, or other related fields. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. Driving is required, therefore you must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, current car insurance, and a good driving record. Health Services Specialist
Early Head Start


The Early Head Start program is seeking a part-time Health Services Specialist to assure the activities in the health, nutrition and safe environments areas of the Early Head Start program are carried out effectively. In this position you will ensure compliance with program goals related to the health and development of children and pregnant women in the program. This job requires a high school diploma and experience in public health, health education, maternal and child health, or related field; and a minimum of one year of related experience. Knowledge of child development, family dynamics and knowledge of community resources is a plus. This position comes with vacation and sick leave, a flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, and 401(k) options.

 

Somali Interpreter
Early Intervention


DDI VANTAGE Early Intervention program in Salt Lake City provides home-based services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for an on-call Somali Interpreter to accompany therapists to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Somali. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report will be run on all new hires. This position comes with some benefits including a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

 

Burmese Interpreter
Early Intervention


DDI VANTAGE provides home-based early intervention services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for a part-time Burmese Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Burmese. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. We offer vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and mileage reimbursement.

 

Kurdish Interpreter
Early Intervention


DDI VANTAGE provides home-based early intervention services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for an on-call Kurdish Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Kurdish. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. We offer mileage reimbursement at .50 per mile.

 

Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech & Language Pathologist
Duchesne County


Would you like a rewarding job working with infants and toddlers? Our Early Intervention program in Roosevelt is currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Pathologist to work with children from birth to three in Duchesne County. In this position you will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations and provide home-based individual services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. You will also conduct developmental evaluations using appropriate assessment tools to assist in determining program eligibility. We will provide training in early intervention to the right candidate. Because driving is required you must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, current car insurance and a good driving record. This position comes with some benefits including vacation and sick leave, 401(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule. We require a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology and a current Utah license.
