Program Services Specialist
Early Intervention

We are currently looking for a part-time (29 hr/wk) Program Services Specialist for our Early Intervention Program at our East site. In this position you will develop, implement, and oversee the orientation, training, and mentoring process of newly hired staff, interns, medical resident students, and volunteers. You will also be responsible for creating an effective connection between the program and the community. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a child development or a related field and a minimum of two years early intervention experience. This position comes with excellent benefits including 18 paid holidays, vacation and sick days, retirement through the Utah Retirement Systems, 401(k) options, and mileage reimbursement at 50 cents a mile.

 

Speech and Language Pathologist
Early Intervention - West Site

A full-time position has become available for a Speech and Language Pathologist to work at our West Site. In this position you will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations and provide home-based individual services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. We will provide training in early intervention to the right candidate. This job requires a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in speech and language pathology, Utah state licensure, and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or commencement of Clinical Fellowship Year. This position comes with benefits including medical and dental insurance, vacation, personal leave and sick leave, retirement through the Utah Retirement Systems, 401(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule.

 

Health Services Specialist - 40 hours
Early Head Start


The Early Head Start Program is seeking a full-time Health Services Specialist to assure the activities in the health, nutrition and safe environments areas of the Early Head Start program are carried out effectively. In this position you will ensure compliance with program goals related to the health and development of children and pregnant women in the program. This job requires a high school diploma and experience in public health, health education, maternal and child health, or related field; and a minimum of one year of related experience. Knowledge of child development, family dynamics and knowledge of community resources is a plus. This position comes with medical and dental benefits, 18 paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, and retirement through the Utah Retirement Systems.

 

ERSEA Specialist - 19 hours
Early Head Start - Tooele


The Early Head Start Program in Tooele provides services to low-income families with children in the birth to three age range and/or pregnant women. We are currently looking for a part-time ERSEA Specialist to support the eligibility, recruitment, enrollment, selection and attendance area of the EHS Program. In this position you will participate in enrollment and recruitment activities including implementing recruitment plans in the community to identify and target low income families. You will also conduct application appointments with interested families, assist with prioritization and selection into the program, and track and input enrollment data in the electronic information system. This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six months in social or family services and experience working with children and families. This position comes vacation and sick leave, and 410(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule. Driving is required therefore, you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report will be done on all new hires.

Part-time Family Specialist Center-Based
Early Head Start - 45th South


We currently have a part-time opening (19 hour per week) in the Early Head Start program for a Center-based Family Specialist who is bi-lingual in Spanish. This position will provide case management services in the center-based partnership for children and their families in the areas of early childhood development, disabilities, child health and safety, nutrition, and family partnerships. In this position you will partner with family and childcare teachers to monitor and update outcomes, as well as provide education and information to parents and childcare teachers for the successful implementation of goals. You will assure that families receive the appropriate services and referrals and will assist families in ensuring that their children’s needs are met. A high school diploma or GED is required. We prefer a BS degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field and we require a minimum of one year of related experience in early childhood education, family services, or other related fields. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. This position comes with benefits including vacation days; sick days; 401(k) options; and mileage reimbursement at 50 cents a mile. Support Specialist - 10-15 hours
Adult and Youth Services


The Adult and Youth Services program is looking for a part-time Support Specialist to provide supported employment and supported living services to individuals with disabilities in the community. In this position you will provide support to clients in their workplace and/or in the home in the areas of medical needs, personal hygiene, transportation, social activities, and other life skills. We require a high school diploma or equivalent and we prefer a minimum of six months related experience. We provide sick leave, vacation, mileage reimbursement and a flexible schedule. This position requires driving therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license and car insurance, reliable transportation, and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report are run on all new employees.

 

Burmese Interpreter
Early Intervention


DDI VANTAGE provides home-based early intervention services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for a part-time Burmese Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Burmese. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. We offer vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and mileage reimbursement.

 

Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech & Language Pathologist
Part-time Duchesne County


Would you like a rewarding job working with infants and toddlers? Our Early Intervention Program in Roosevelt is currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Pathologist to work with children from birth to three in Duchesne County. In this position you will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations and provide home-based individual services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. You will also conduct developmental evaluations using appropriate assessment tools to assist in determining program eligibility. We will provide training in early intervention to the right candidate. Because driving is required you must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, current car insurance and a good driving record. This position comes with some benefits including vacation and sick leave, 401(k) options, mileage reimbursement, and a flexible schedule. We require a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology and a current Utah license.
